History Of MD Technologies Inc.

MD Technologies Inc. began developing Internet-based software solutions for the healthcare industry in 1995 when the emergence of the Internet began to materialize. The product that evolved from this development, Medtopia® Manager, became one of the first SaaS practice management/billing systems on the market when it went live in November 1998.

In March 2012, MD Technologies was acquired by MDOL, a Parsippany, NJ based provider of electronic healthcare solutions that leverage data to improve practice efficiency and industry connectivity. The acquisition will combine a superior product, Medtopia® Manager, with the resources needed to deliver it to an extensive provider base.
