The Medtopia applications and services were created by the co-founders and
original principles of MD Technologies in the early 1990’s. We
realized very early on that the growth and potential of the Internet would
enable a new generation of technological solutions to the decades old, and
increasingly complex, healthcare industry. Our
early research and development of Internet-enabled applications allowed us to
bring our first prototype Medtopia application to market in 1996. However
it was not until 1998 before the industry was ready to adopt these advanced
solutions and the company went live with its first customer in November of that
year.
Since then, our customer base has grown steadily and afforded
us the ability to continually update our products and services with the latest
and most advanced technologies available. Our
continued devotion and commitment to the best possible service and support has
allowed us to keep our customers for the long-term once we obtain them. We
view our customers as partners in business -- and by engaging them with that
respect, we are rewarded with their long-term loyalty and patronage.
MD Technologies conducted an initial public offering in 2003
that was qualified by the Securities and Exchange Commission on December 7,
